2. Data processed by the app

Training plans

Names you assign to training plans, exercise names, exercise order, durations, and timer values are stored locally in the app's private storage. The controller does not receive this content.

App state

The app stores required settings and editing state locally so that your plans and custom button labels remain available the next time you launch the app.

Android text-to-speech

Exercise names and timer information are passed to the text-to-speech engine configured on your device. Depending on the selected TTS engine, its provider may process data. The app does not use the microphone or record audio.

Android backup

Because Android backup and device transfer are permitted, local training plans and settings may be included in a backup depending on your device and Google account settings.

3. Google AdMob and consent

The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), provided in the European Economic Area by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data processed may include the advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, device and app information, ad interactions, diagnostics, and fraud-prevention data. Google and participating advertising partners may use this data for personalised advertising and profiles if you consent.

On launch, the app requests the current consent status through the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Banner and interstitial ads are requested only when UMP indicates that advertising may proceed. Where required, you can choose between personalised and limited or non-personalised advertising. The Privacy options button on the start screen lets you reopen and change your choice with effect for the future.

5. Recipients and international transfers

Local training data is not intentionally transmitted to the controller or advertising providers. Recipients of advertising and diagnostic data may include Google, its affiliated companies, and advertising partners identified in the consent message. The TTS engine and backup provider selected on your device may process data under their own terms.

Google and advertising partners may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Google states that, depending on the recipient, it relies on safeguards such as adequacy decisions including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention and deletion

Local training plans and settings remain on the device until you delete them in the app, clear the app's Android storage, or uninstall the app. Backup copies may remain for longer under the settings and retention periods of the backup provider. Google and advertising partners retain data under their own practices linked above.

7. Security and automated decisions

Local data is held in the app storage protected by Android. Complete protection against every risk cannot be guaranteed. The app itself does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Personalised ad selection may be automated based on usage and device data.

8. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You can manage or delete local content in the app or through the Android app settings.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. The competent authority is, in particular, the Independent State Centre for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany, email: mail@datenschutzzentrum.de.
